RESCHEDULED Mini Session Portrait Tour - The Highline NYC

Our first take on this adaptation of 'The Mini Session', come meet us, or carpool to the High Line, NYC, meet some new friends and have a photographic experience like no other. We have this experience significantly discounted as it is a trial to hopefully more successful events like this in the future. In turn, we are hoping you will all have a fantastic time, leave lots of good reviews of your experience and we can use the pictures taken for future events. If this is not ok with you, please consider a private session where we can be more individualized. We thank you for your consideration and cooperation.

We will be carpooling at 1:00 if you'd like to meet us in Montclair, 10 Pine St or meet us right at 11th Ave & W 30th St (stair entrance. Elevator entrance is on W 30th St closer to 10th Ave) no later than 2:00pm to start our Mini Session Portrait Tour. We will be photographing first in front of the iconic Hudson Yards building, then to Pamela Rosenkranz's Old Tree art installation (#1 on the Highline Map) and ending our tour at Nina Chanel Abney, NYC LOVE art mural at 10th Ave & W 22nd St. Throughout our walk will be several spots for urban photo opportunities as well as with the gorgeous florals planted throughout the High Line. This experience is for Children and Families between the ages of 3yr-15yr who are comfortable in front of the camera, with being photographed outdoors and most likely with other people bustling around. If you have multiple children and a child outside that range, just let us know and we will see if we can accomodate. This event is perfect for your holiday cards, to update your family portrait wall or to create engaging portraits for online content.

EACH PERSON ATTENDING NEEDS TO PURCHASE A TICKET. We are limiting the amout of people to 10 attendees so you all can get the best experience possible. We will be photographing individual and group shots throughout the walk. So think of it as a shared mini session experience. A portion of the sales of this event will be donated to the upkeep of the High Line.

We ask that no cell phone or professional photographs are taken other than from the Village Studio team. We will have a photographer with us taking behind the scene images on her iphone that she will be happy to share with you at the end of our walk. So you can relax and enjoy your time, taking in all the High Line has to offer. You are welcome to leave at any point throughout, just know this will impact the diversity of your gallery, since obviously you will not be present at some of the locations.

What to Wear: You should arrive dressed ready to be photographed. Jacket/sweater can be a great add-on to your portraits, or easily taken off when it's your turn to be photographed. Wear comfortable shoes to walk in, and if you'd like, a nicer heel/boot that can quickly be switched when it's your turn to be photographed. We can not guarantee a space for an outfit change.

What to Expect: This is a group event, so we will be taking each person's photograph, and family groupings of photographs throughout the different photo op locations along our High Line walk. We ask that you be patient for your turn and afterwards as we photograph the others. Every person has different capabilities and needs and we will be giving 100% of attention to each while you are in front of our camera. Please remember this is a shared mini session experience, if you are looking for a more private experience, please book a private session and you will have us all to yourself. :)

After the event, we will schedule a webconference to go over your set of images. With this experience, you will receive one Digital Image that comes with your session (one per person) and will have the opportunity to purchase additional Digital Images, prints and cards. All orders must be in on your assigned webconference time. Everyone who needs to be involved in the purchase should be present during your scheduled webconference. Our Package Price list will be email to you prior. No additional purchase is necessary, however your images will not be for sale after your webconference date.

By signing up for this experience, you acknowlege a model release for all images captured at the event for Village Studio to use for marketing and promotional purposes (We do not use names. We are happy to tag you if you'd like to include your Facebook/IG handle). Please know this is our first time doing an event like this, so we are hoping to use all the photographs taken for marketing purposes. Kindly sign our model release here. No pets are allowed on the High Line. Strollers are welcome, No bicycles, skates or skateboards.
